This spectacular opening hole introduces one straight away to the look and feel of the course. A good tee shot down the right hand side of the fairway will open up a view of the green for the second shot way in the distance. Beware of the water on the right hand side of the fairway as this will swallow up any errant shots played too far to the right.
The third shot with a short iron should be aimed at the right-hand side of this generous green, which naturally slopes towards the left, but beware of the large bunker lying in wait to the front left of the green.
